U.S. President Donald Trump stated that “everyone loves” his plan for the United States to take control of the Gaza Strip. However, this claim comes despite widespread international criticism.

Trump suggested that nations like Jordan and Egypt accept more Palestinian refugees from Gaza. Nevertheless, both countries have firmly rejected this proposal. Additionally, he proposed that the United States lead Gaza’s reconstruction, aiming to transform it into the “Riviera of the Middle East.”

International Condemnation

Despite Trump’s enthusiasm, the global community, including the United Nations, has strongly condemned the initiative. Many consider it a violation of international law and an act of ethnic cleansing.
