The president will make history with his presence at the year’s most important sporting event.

President Donald Trump will attend Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025. The event will take place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. He will be the first sitting president to attend this game.

This year, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will compete for the title. Trump’s presence is significant because he has had conflicts with the NFL. In particular, he has criticized players who protested during the national anthem.

For the first time since 2021, the phrase “End Racism” will not appear in the end zones. Instead, the phrases “Choose Love” and “It Takes All of Us” will be displayed. A league spokesperson explained that this decision was made in response to recent national tragedies. Examples include wildfires in California, an attack in New Orleans, and air accidents. However, the NFL denies that Trump’s presence influenced this decision.
